I also seen some with animals. Yep, animals! Dogs, cats, even birds, sittin’ right there next to the bride and groom. One place, they called it Etsy, had all sorts of them. Little doggies with bows, cats with tiny veils. Crazy, I tell ya. But if that’s what makes them happy, who am I to judge?
And then there’s the “unique wedding cake toppers”. Now, these ain’t your grandma’s plastic figurines, no sirree. These are somethin’ else. Handmade, they say. Out of wood, or metal, or even some kind of clay stuff. I saw some that looked like little rustic signs, with the bride and groom’s names on ’em. Pretty, I guess, in a down-home kinda way.
One thing I noticed, lots of folks like the “rustic” look. You know, kinda old-fashioned, like somethin’ you’d find in an old barn. They got these wooden ones, with the bride and groom’s initials carved in ’em. Or little hearts, or flowers. Simple, but nice.

- Rustic Cake Toppers: Think old-timey, like somethin’ from a farm. Lots of wood, carvings, and simple designs.
So, if you’re plannin’ a weddin’, or helpin’ someone plan one, and you need a bride and groom cake topper, you got lots of choices. You can go simple, you can go fancy, you can go wild and crazy. It’s all up to you. Just remember, it’s supposed to be fun. Don’t get too stressed about it. It’s just a little somethin’ on top of a cake, after all.
I heard some folks even spend a whole lotta money on these things. Hundreds of dollars, sometimes! Can you believe that? For a little statue?
