But hey, it’s your special day, right? If you want to splurge, go ahead. Just don’t come cryin’ to me when you can’t afford groceries next month.

And if you don’t, well, there are plenty of other dresses out there. Just find somethin’ that makes you feel good, that’s all that matters. And one more thing, when you’re tryin’ on dresses, take a friend. Someone who’ll tell you the truth, even if it ain’t what you wanna hear. You don’t want to end up lookin’ like a stuffed sausage roll on your big day, do ya? And make sure you can move in the darn thing! You gotta be able to dance and hug your grandma and all that. Don’t get stuck in somethin’ you can’t breathe in.
Finding Your Dress. I hear tell you can find these dresses in fancy stores, the kind with the shiny floors and the pushy salespeople. Or you can go online, if you’re brave enough to buy a dress without tryin’ it on first. Me? I’d stick to the stores, but that’s just me. I like to see what I’m gettin’ before I hand over my hard-earned cash. And don’t be afraid to haggle a little! These stores, they charge an arm and a leg. See if you can talk ‘em down a bit. Ain’t nothin’ wrong with tryin’ to save a few bucks.
