Alright, so, I got tasked with setting up this “groom country wedding,” and let me tell you, it was a whole journey. First things first, I had to scout for a place. We wanted that rustic, country feel, so I checked out a few barns and farms. Drove around a bunch, talked to a lot of folks. Finally found this awesome old barn, real authentic, you know? It had that perfect vibe.
Then came the fun part – decorating. We went all out with the country theme. I got a ton of terracotta pots, planted some flowers in them. It was a lot of work, digging and planting, but totally worth it. White wedding dress, yep, that was the bride’s choice, classic and pretty. Matched the whole theme real nice.
Decor and Stuff
- Fabric drapes: Hung them up all over the place. Softened the look of the barn, made it feel more cozy.
- Fairy lights: Oh boy, these were a game-changer. Strung them up everywhere. Once it got dark, the place looked magical.
- Wood stuff: Got some wooden signs made, you know, with cute sayings. Also used logs and branches as part of the centerpieces. Looked real rustic.
- Flowers: Lots of them. In pots, in vases, on tables. Made everything look alive and colorful.
We decided to serve the food around 3 PM. Kinda early for a wedding, but it worked. People were hungry after all the setup and running around. Kept it simple, nothing too fancy. Good old country food.
It was a lot of sweat and hard work, I won’t lie. But seeing it all come together, everyone having a good time, it was worth every bit. That’s the story of how I pulled off a groom country wedding. Pretty proud of it, not gonna lie.
