Okay, so I’ve been on this hunt for the perfect wedding dress, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I’ve always dreamed of a mermaid silhouette, something that really hugs the curves and makes a statement. And who does it better than Vera Wang, right?
So, I started diving deep into the world of Vera Wang mermaid wedding dresses. First, I spent hours scrolling through their website and saving pictures to my phone. I was looking at all sorts of styles, some with lace, some without, some with straps, some strapless. It was a lot to take in.
- First up, I hit up the Vera Wang Bride website. It was full of these gorgeous, super detailed photos. I bookmarked like a dozen different dresses.
- I also went through some wedding blogs and Pinterest boards. This is where I got some real-life inspiration and saw how these dresses look on actual brides, not just models.
- I found out that Vera Wang has this 2025 collection, and oh boy, the “ZELIE” dress caught my eye. It’s a silk satin mermaid dress with cap sleeves. So elegant!
- Another one that I loved was this soft-white neoprene mermaid gown. It has this huge bow accent on the skirt, and the model was wearing these long leather gloves. Super chic and different.
Narrowing it Down
After getting a feel for the variety, I started to narrow down my choices based on what I really wanted. I was looking for something romantic but also a bit modern.
There was this one dress, “LOISE”, a tulle mermaid dress from the same 2025 collection. That one really hit the spot. It felt like the perfect blend of classic and contemporary.
Then, I started checking out some online bridal shops. They had a bunch of Vera Wang dresses, and I could compare prices and see availability. It was good to see some dresses that were a bit more budget-friendly, too.
I even managed to find about 120 different mermaid wedding dresses on one of these sites, I think. It was overwhelming but also super helpful to see so many options in one place.
The Final Decision
In the end, I decided to book an appointment at a Vera Wang boutique. I wanted to try on a few different styles and see how they actually felt. I’m particularly excited to try on the “LOISE” and “ZELIE” dresses. Fingers crossed one of them will be “the one”!
I’m still a bit nervous about the whole process, but at least now I feel like I’ve done my research. I know what I like, and I have a better idea of what to expect. Wish me luck, I’ll definitely share an update once I find my dream dress!
