Okay, so I’ve been planning this for weeks, and I’m so excited to finally do it! I’m gonna ask my besties to be my bridesmaids, and I wanted to make it super special. I didn’t want to just call them or send a text. I mean, these girls are my ride-or-dies, and they deserve something extra cute and thoughtful. So I decided to create these “Will you be my bridesmaid?” boxes.
First, I went online and ordered some plain white boxes. Nothing fancy, just something to hold all the goodies. Then came the fun part – filling them up! I wanted each box to be personalized, so I thought about each of my friends and what they love.
- For Sarah, who’s a total beauty junkie, I got a mini face mask, a cute lip balm, and a sample-size of her favorite perfume.
- Emily is all about relaxation, so I included a scented candle, some bath salts, and a cozy pair of socks.
- And for Jessica, who has the biggest sweet tooth, I added some gourmet chocolates, a mini bottle of her favorite wine, and a cute little mug.
I also wrote each of them a heartfelt card. I tried to express how much their friendship means to me and how much I’d love for them to be by my side on my big day. It was a bit cheesy, but hey, weddings are all about the cheese, right?
After filling the boxes, I decorated them with some pretty ribbons and added a tag that said, “Will you be my bridesmaid?” I was so happy with how they turned out! They looked so cute and personal, and I knew my friends would love them.
I decided to invite them over for a girls’ night. We ordered some pizza, watched a movie, and just chatted and laughed like old times. Then, when the moment felt right, I brought out the boxes.
They were so surprised! They all opened their boxes at the same time, and their reactions were priceless. There were tears, laughter, and lots of hugs. It was such a special moment, and I’ll cherish it forever. And guess what? They all said yes! I’m so lucky to have these amazing women in my life, and I can’t wait to share my wedding day with them.
Honestly, it was so much more meaningful than just asking them over the phone or through a text. It took a little bit more effort, but it was totally worth it. Seeing their faces light up made all the planning and crafting worth it. Plus, now we have this awesome memory to look back on. This whole bridesmaid proposal box thing? Definitely recommend it! It’s a sweet and memorable way to start the wedding festivities!
