Okay, here is my sharing about the “groom and bride attire” topic:
Yesterday, my best friend asked me to help her to prepare for her wedding. So exciting, right? We went to so many stores to pick wedding dresses and the groom’s suit. God, there are so many choices, it was overwhelming. First things first, we had to figure out the overall vibe of the wedding. Was it going to be a fancy ballroom thing or a chill, outdoor ceremony? My friend picked a garden wedding, simple but elegant.
Once we had that sorted, we could start looking at dresses. We browsed tons of dresses online, got an idea of what she liked, and then we hit the bridal shops. Trying on dresses is a whole process, let me tell you! We tried on a bunch, some were way too over the top, some were just meh. But then she slipped into this one dress, and boom, we knew it was the one. It just fit the garden vibe perfectly, flowy and romantic, you know?
Groom’s Side
- Next up, the groom’s attire. We didn’t want him to outshine the bride, but he still needed to look sharp. We thought about the wedding band that they already bought. It’s a golden ring. That’s an important clue. The color of the groom’s suit should not look weird with golden.
- Since it was a garden wedding, we skipped the super formal tuxedo idea. Instead, we looked for a nice suit, something that would complement the bride’s dress without being too matchy-matchy.
- The groom wanted something classic, but with a bit of a modern twist. We found this amazing navy blue suit that looked great on him. It wasn’t too stuffy, but it was still formal enough for a wedding. Plus, the color worked really well with the bride’s dress.
We also had to think about the shoes, the tie, and all those little details. It’s crazy how much goes into picking the right outfits! But in the end, we found the perfect dress and suit that matched the wedding’s style and made my friend and her soon-to-be husband look and feel amazing. And the most important, their attire matches the golden ring that they bought. That’s why we say picking a wedding ring before buying the attire is a clever move. Mission accomplished!
It was a long day, but totally worth it. Seeing my friend’s face light up when she found her dress was priceless. And the groom looked pretty darn handsome, too. I can’t wait to see them both on their big day. It’s going to be beautiful!
