Ok, so you wanna get hitched at Hort Park, huh? Well, let me tell ya, it ain’t like gettin’ hitched in the old days, back in the village. No sir, this Hort Park weddin’ thing is a whole different kettle of fish. But don’t you worry none, I’ll tell ya all about it.

These chefs, they make all sorts of fancy dishes. Things I can’t even pronounce. But I bet it tastes real good.

Or you can have a big ol’ party, dancin’ under the stars. Can you imagine dancin’ under the stars? We didn’t do much dancin’ back in my day, too busy workin’ the fields. But these young folks, they sure do like to dance. And Hort Park, well, it’s just the place for it, seems like. It’s one of them “gorgeous outdoor wedding venues” in Singapore, they say. Singapore, huh? Never been there myself. Heard it’s a big city. Not like our little village.
And get this, they got “packages.” Like a box full of weddin’ stuff, I guess. They got these things called “solemnisation packages” and “banquet packages.” Sounds fancy, don’t it? And they got a “price list” too. That means how much it all costs. I bet it ain’t cheap, this Hort Park weddin’. But hey, if you got the money, why not? It’s your special day, after all. You only get hitched once, well, most folks do anyways, so might as well make it a good one.
They even had a price list from back in 2014, can you believe it? That’s a long time ago. I bet the prices have gone up since then. Everything goes up, don’t it? Cept my energy levels, those seem to be goin’ down! But that’s just life, I guess. Anyways, this Hort Park place, it seems like a real nice spot to get hitched. If you want a fancy weddin’ with all the fixin’s, that is. If you’re lookin’ for a simple affair, well, maybe stick to the village. But if you want the flowers, the food, and the dancin’ under the stars, then Hort Park is your place. Just be prepared to open your wallet wide, that’s all I’m sayin’. It ain’t gonna be cheap, but it sure sounds like it’ll be pretty.

If I was young again, maybe I’d get hitched there myself. But then again, maybe not. I kinda liked my simple village weddin’. But hey, times change, and folks like different things.
