Okay, so I had this whole thing planned out in my head. I wanted to make a really unique wedding, and of course, part of that was the bridesmaids. I decided to go with five. Why five? Well, I’ve got this tight group of friends from way back, and I couldn’t imagine not having all of them up there with me. Plus, I thought five would look great in the photos, you know, not too crowded but still a solid group.
Finding the Dresses:
So, I started looking for dresses. I didn’t want anything too matchy-matchy. I like the idea of everyone wearing something that suits them but still goes together, you know? I spent hours scrolling online, looking at different styles and colors. Eventually, I came up with this idea to have different shades of blue.
Getting Them Made:
Now, here’s where it got a bit tricky. Finding five different dresses in the right shades of blue and in everyone’s sizes was a nightmare. So, I thought, why not get them custom-made? That way, everyone gets a dress that fits perfectly and looks amazing. I found this local tailor who was up for the challenge. We spent a day trying on different styles and picking out fabrics. It was so much fun, like a little pre-wedding party.

The Big Day:
Finally, the wedding day arrived. Seeing my five best friends standing there, each in their unique blue dress, was so special. They looked stunning, and I felt so lucky to have them by my side. The photos turned out amazing, too. The different shades of blue looked gorgeous together, and everyone’s individual style shined through.
Reflecting on the Process:
Looking back, I’m so glad I went with five bridesmaids and got their dresses custom-made. It was definitely more work than just picking something off the rack, but it was totally worth it. It made the whole experience even more personal and memorable. Plus, it was a great way to show my friends how much they mean to me. It was a bit of a headache at times, but seeing it all come together made it all worthwhile.
