Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with different hairstyles lately, especially ones that would look good with a tiara for a wedding. It’s been a fun little project, and I thought I’d share my process with you all.
First off, I started by looking for some inspiration online. I scrolled through tons of pictures of wedding hairstyles, specifically ones with tiaras. Pinterest became my best friend during this phase. I saw lots of images for simple Indian wedding hairstyles, South Indian bridal styles, and even some fancy reception looks. I found a bunch of ideas from some people’s boards, like DoncyAbishake’s board called “bridal hairstyle” and Hannah’s board “Wedding: Aesthetics and Vibe.” There were so many beautiful styles, from simple to super elaborate, with all kinds of floral decorations and hair ornaments. I saved a bunch of images to use as a reference.
After gathering some inspiration, I decided to try out a few different styles on myself. I started with a simple, classic bun. I pulled my hair back, twisted it into a bun, and secured it with some bobby pins. Then, I carefully placed a tiara on top. It looked pretty, but I felt like it needed a little something extra.
Next, I tried a half-up, half-down style. I took the top section of my hair and tied it back, leaving the rest of my hair down. I curled the loose hair to give it some volume and texture. I added the tiara, and it looked much better than the bun. It felt more romantic and a bit more special.
I also experimented with some braided styles. I tried a simple side braid, a fishtail braid, and even a braided crown. Each one looked really nice with the tiara, but the braided crown was definitely my favorite. It felt very regal and elegant. With this style, the tiara really popped and looked like it was part of the hairstyle. I guess I found the winner style.
After trying out a few more styles, here are the types of hairstyles I tested:
- Classic Bun: Simple and elegant, but a bit plain for my taste.
- Half-Up, Half-Down: Romantic and pretty, a good balance of updo and loose hair.
- Side Braid: Cute and simple, but maybe not formal enough for a wedding.
- Fishtail Braid: More intricate and interesting than a regular braid.
- Braided Crown: My personal favorite, very regal and perfect for a tiara.
My Findings
In the end, I realized that the best hairstyle really depends on personal preference and the overall wedding vibe. But for me, the braided crown with a tiara was the clear winner. It felt the most special and bridal. I really enjoyed this little experiment, and I hope my experience helps anyone else looking for the perfect wedding hairstyle with a tiara. Just remember to have fun and try out different styles until you find the one that makes you feel like a queen!
