Alright, let’s talk about this bridesmaid thing and that Google form thingy. My niece, she’s gettin’ hitched, and she asked me to help with all this fancy stuff. I tell ya, back in my day, we just asked folks, none of this computer business. But times, they change, I guess. So, this “bridesmaid google form template,” it’s like a fancy way to ask your girls a bunch of questions, so you don’t gotta call ‘em up all the time. Smart, I guess, if you like tappin’ on them phones all day.
So, what kinda questions you gotta ask? Well, first off, you need their names and how big they are, you know, for their shirts and stuff. My niece, she wants ‘em all matchin’, like a bunch of parrots. So, shirt size, that’s important. And then the pants, or whatever them girls wear on the bottom. Bottom size for pajamas, she calls it. Pajamas? For a weddin’? Kids these days, I tell ya.
Then there’s the shoes. You gotta know how big their feet are, for the slippers or somethin’. Shoe size for slippers. Seems like a lot of fuss over clothes, if you ask me. Back when I got married, we wore what we had, and that was that. But she says it gotta be special. Okay, fine, special it is.

And then, the colors. Lordy, the colors. Favorite color, she asks ‘em. Like it matters. It’s her weddin’, not theirs. But she says it’s for the little gifts and things. Okay, okay, makes a little sense, I guess. But still, too much fussin’.
Now, this makeup and hair thing, that’s a whole ‘nother story. Some girls, they want someone to paint their faces, some wanna do it themselves. So you gotta ask. Preference for getting makeup done and preference for doing their own hair. It’s like a beauty pageant, not a weddin’. But she says it’s important for the pictures. Pictures, pictures, always with the pictures. Back in my day, we had one picture, and that was enough.
Then comes the sittin’ arrangements. Where they gonna sit at the big table, she calls it the head table. Some wanna be up there, some don’t. More fussin’, I tell ya. And where they gonna sleep? Preference for their stay for wedding weekend. Hotel, somebody’s house, who knows? Too many choices, if you ask me.
So how do you make this fancy Google thingy? My niece showed me. You go to Google, click on them little squares, find somethin’ called “Forms”. Then you look for the “Template gallery”. They got all sorts of ready-made forms there, work stuff, school stuff, even this weddin’ stuff. You pick one that looks right and then you change the questions to what you need. Choose a form template From any Google product, click on the grid icon in the upper right and then select the Google Forms icon in the apps library. Select Template gallery in Google Forms. Browse through the list of Work, Education, and Personal forms to click on a template you like. See? Easy peasy, even for an old lady like me.
Basically, this whole thing is like a survey, a way to ask the girls a bunch of questions without havin’ to chase ‘em around. Think of a bridesmaid questionnaire as a survey given to the bridesmaids by the to-be-wed gathering important information pertaining to the wedding day—including small albeit important details like color preferences and shoe sizes—and the events leading up to the big day. It’s all about gettin’ information, so the weddin’ goes smooth, I guess. Smooth as a gravy, she hopes. We’ll see about that.
Anyway, that’s the gist of it. This “bridesmaid google form template” thing, it’s a way to make things easier, or maybe just more complicated, depends on how you look at it. But the young folks, they like their fancy ways. And if it makes my niece happy, then I’m happy too, even if it means tappin’ on this phone more than I like.
