Okay, so, I needed to find some bridesmaid dresses for my girls for my upcoming wedding in Vegas. It was a bit of a mission, but I think I pulled it off!
First off, I started with a list. I needed to figure out where to even look. I wanted something that screamed Vegas without being, you know, tacky. So I did some digging online. Found a few places that looked promising, like this one called “Carats & Cake”. They had some good recommendations for bridal shops in Sin City.
- Checked out places like BridalXOXO and Ten Bridal.
I read a bunch of reviews and this one place had a comment that said, “Because of her help I was able to find my dream wedding dress! At an amazing price too!”. I was like, okay, that sounds promising.
Next, I started thinking about the actual dresses. I didn’t want to be too matchy-matchy. I mean, my girls have different body types and styles, right? I stumbled upon this article that gave some pretty solid advice.
- It suggested choosing different styles in the same color family.
- Letting the girls pick a silhouette that makes them feel good.
- And to think about my own dress! They’ll be standing next to me in photos, so it all needs to work together.
After all that, I took my girls to a couple of those shops. We tried on a ton of dresses. It was a bit chaotic, but fun! They all found something they loved, and the dresses actually look really good together. And the price were all cheap!
You know what’s funny? I learned that bridesmaids used to dress like the bride to confuse evil spirits and jealous exes. Like, can you imagine? Anyway, I’m just glad I found dresses that make my friends feel amazing. And, most importantly, they’re gonna look stunning next to me in all those Vegas photos!
Oh, and one more thing I learned – apparently, the number of bridesmaids doesn’t really matter. It’s all about having the right people standing by your side. Someone told me that for a small wedding you don’t need more than 4 bridesmaids. I ended up with six, but hey, rules are meant to be broken, right?
