Alright, so, my buddy is getting hitched, and he asked me to help him figure out some tunes for the groomsmen to walk down the aisle to. We wanted something that really reflected his personality and got everyone pumped up for the big moment. So we dived right in.
First off, we brainstormed what kind of vibe he was going for. Did he want something classic, something modern, or maybe something totally off the wall? We tossed around a bunch of ideas and finally decided to go for a mix of high-energy and a bit of classic rock. He’s a huge fan of that kind of music, and it just felt right.
Next, I started digging through my music collection and some online playlists. I was looking for songs that had a good beat and would make a statement. After a few hours, I had narrowed it down to a few potential bangers.
Here’s what we came up with:

- “Back In Black” by AC/DC – This one’s a classic for a reason. It’s got a killer groove, and it’s perfect for making a grand entrance.
- “You Shook Me All Night Long,” also by AC/DC – Another AC/DC track, because why not? This one’s a bit more fun and playful, but it still packs a punch.
After I presented these options to my buddy, he was stoked. We listened to each song a couple of times, picturing the groomsmen strutting their stuff down the aisle. We even practiced a few entrances ourselves, just to make sure the songs worked in action. It was a blast, and we were both pretty confident we’d nailed it.
We also talked about the timing of the walk. The plan is for the groom to go first, followed by his crew, coming in from the side and getting into position while the song plays. It’s gonna be epic, and I can’t wait to see it all come together on the big day.
And for the little ones, like the ring bearer, we picked out something sweet and classic, like “Over the Rainbow.” It’ll be a nice contrast to the rock anthems. After all the music selecting, we were confident with our choices.
