Okay, so I’ve been planning my wedding, and let me tell you, it’s a LOT. One of the things I really wanted to get right was making sure my bridesmaids were in the loop and happy. That’s where the idea of using a Google Form came in, and it turned out to be a game-changer.
I started by thinking about all the things I needed to know from my bridesmaids. Stuff like their dress sizes, contact info, any allergies they might have, and what they were thinking about the bachelorette party. I mean, I wanted everyone to have a good time, right?
So, I hopped onto Google Forms. It’s super easy to use, even if you’re not a tech whiz. I started a new form from scratch, but they also have some templates you can use, which might be helpful if you don’t want to start from zero.
First, I added a title, something like “Bridesmaid Information Form,” and a little description to explain what it was all about. Then, I got into the questions.
Here’s what I included in my form:

- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Mailing Address (for sending out save-the-dates and stuff)
- Dress Details:
- Dress Size
- Shoe Size
- Any preferences or concerns about the dress style?
- Bachelorette Party:
- Are you available for the bachelorette party on [Date range]?
- What’s your budget for the bachelorette party?
- Any activities you’d love to do or absolutely avoid?
- Other:
- Do you have any allergies or dietary restrictions?
- Is there anything else you’d like me to know?
I made most of the questions multiple choice or short answer to make it easy for them to fill out. Once I was happy with the questions, I customized the form a bit. I changed the colors to match my wedding theme – it is really easy, just click and select some colors, and then boom, done!
Then came the big moment – sending it out! I just grabbed the sharing link, drafted a quick email to my bridesmaids explaining the form, and hit send. It was so much easier than trying to gather all this info through individual texts or calls.
The responses started rolling in, and it was amazing. I had all the info I needed in one organized spreadsheet. It made planning so much smoother. I could easily see who was available for the bachelorette party, what everyone’s budget was, and if anyone had any special requests.
