Okay, so I had to pick out bridesmaid dresses for a December wedding, and let me tell you, it was a whole thing. I started by scrolling through tons of pictures online. I opened like a million tabs on my browser, checking out different styles and colors. I was looking for something that would fit the winter vibe but also look good on everyone.
I found a bunch of options, from long, flowy dresses to shorter, more modern ones. But the real challenge was finding something that everyone in the bridal party would like. We had a group chat going, and everyone was sending in their ideas and opinions. It was a bit chaotic, to be honest.
After a lot of back-and-forth, we finally decided on a few different styles we all liked. We considered different fabrics. I wanted something that wouldn’t be too cold for December, so we looked at heavier fabrics like velvet. Satin was also a beautiful choice. And then there were colors. Darker colors seemed more winter-appropriate, but we also considered some off-white shades to keep things a little lighter.
Narrowing it Down
- Checked out different dress lengths – maxi, midi, you name it.
- Thought about getting some cover-ups, like shawls or cute jackets, in case it got chilly.
- Made sure the dresses wouldn’t break the bank because, you know, weddings are expensive enough.
Finally, after what felt like forever, we found the perfect dresses! They were elegant, they fit the December wedding theme, and everyone in the bridal party loved them. It was such a relief to have that checked off the wedding to-do list. We placed the order and then just waited for the email saying the dresses had been shipped.
Then the big day came when the dresses arrived! It was so exciting to finally see them. And you know what? They were perfect. Everyone tried them on and felt beautiful. All the stress of finding the dresses was totally worth it.
