So, you wanna get hitched, huh? And you want a reasonable wedding venue on Long Island? Well, let me tell ya, Long Island got places, lots of ’em. You just gotta know where to look. Lots of folks get married around here, you know. Some fancy, some not so fancy. It is all depend on how much money you wanna spend.
This Long Island, she’s a beauty, ain’t she? Got beaches, got them fancy grape places up North Fork way. They make wine there. And Montauk, that’s the end of the road, right there by the ocean. All these places, they’re good for a wedding. I have saw some people get married on beach. That is free, right? Maybe not free, you need some paper, I don’t know.
Now, if you want some real place, not beach, some places, they charge you an arm and a leg. But there’s some that ain’t so bad. You can find some inexpensive wedding venues on Long Island if you are willing to looking for it. If you know people, you can always ask around, right?
- Restaurants can be good. Some of them got rooms, private ones. Food’s already there, that’s a plus. I heard there is a place, name like “Novita Wine Bar”, something like that. You can go there, take a look. Maybe it is good for you.
- Parks, them’s cheap. Just gotta hope the weather’s good. Maybe not in winter. Too cold. But Spring or Summer, you can have a try.
- And them community rooms, they rent those out too. Big enough, most of them. You can put tables, chairs, whatever you want.
If you really want it cheap, I tell you what I saw once. You know there are some places in city, they do the wedding right there, just sign the paper. You don’t need to do some big thing. Then you go to your home or restaurant, have some food. No need to spend so much money on big wedding, right?
This Long Island, it’s got everything. Big, fancy houses, they call ’em estates. Waterfront, they say. Right by the water, see? They do weddings there too, I bet. Big ones. Lots of people. Must be cost a lot. Then got them barns. Not for cows, no, no. They fix ’em up real nice, for weddings. That’s what I heard. Country style. Some people like that. You can get whatever you want. Just depend on what you like and how much you want to pay.
Now, when you’re lookin’ for a place, gotta think about things, you know? How many folks you gonna invite? Some places, they’re big, some are small. Gotta make sure there’s enough room for everyone, right? And the food, that’s important. Some places, you gotta use their food. Some, you can bring your own. Cheaper that way, maybe. If you don’t want to bring your own, buffet is cheaper than everybody getting their own plate. Less work, you know.
I heard some names, these places, they say they’re affordable wedding venues. One’s called “Whitby Castle”, sounds fancy, huh? Another one, “Riviera Waterfront Mansion”, sounds even fancier. If you got money, go for it. But if you do not have that much, there is another one, “Peconic River Herb Farm”. Don’t know what that is, but it sounds cheap. And “Bourne Mansion”, that sounds big. And “Larkfield”, don’t know that one. Just names I heard, that’s all. You can go check them out, ask how much they want.
You know, wedding is about two people, right? It is not about how big the party is. You need to save money for your life. Buy house, buy car, have baby, that is all need money. Big party is just one day. But you need to live everyday, right?
So, you look around, ask your friends, ask your family. Somebody knows a place. Long Island’s big, lots of places to get married. Don’t need to spend all your money on one day. Just find a place you like, that ain’t too expensive. You can still have good food and good time. Then, you get married, be happy. That’s all that matters, right?
