Alright, let’s talk about these bridesmaid flower crowns, you know, the things them young girls wear on their heads at weddings. I seen a few in my time, and lemme tell ya, they ain’t all the same. Some look pretty as a picture, others… well, let’s just say they look like somethin’ the cat dragged in.

You gotta pick what suits ya, I guess.
- Who Pays for ‘Em? Now, that’s a good question. From what I hear, it’s usually the bride’s job to buy ‘em. Along with the bouquets and all them other flower things. Weddings cost a pretty penny these days, let me tell ya. Back in my day, we just picked some wildflowers from the field and called it a day. But times change, I suppose.
- Can Anybody Wear ‘Em? Well, mostly it’s the bridesmaids, the girls standin’ up with the bride. But I seen little flower girls wearin’ ‘em too. And sometimes, even the guests wear flowers in their hair, just not the big crown thing. Men, they get a little flower in their buttonhole, kinda cute, I guess. But the big crowns? That’s mostly for the ladies.
So, where do you get these flower crowns? Well, you can buy ‘em at a store, I guess. I seen some advertised online too, all fancy and whatnot. Or, if you’re crafty, you can make your own. Just get some flowers and wire, and twist ’em together. Ain’t rocket science, but it takes a bit of patience. I tried makin’ one once, ended up pokin’ myself more than the flowers. Guess I ain’t got the touch.
How much do they cost? Well, that depends. The real flower ones, them fancy ones, they can cost a pretty penny. I heard tell of some costin’ more than my Sunday dress! The fake ones, they’re cheaper, of course. You can get a whole bunch of ‘em for a few dollars, I reckon. And the dried ones, somewhere in between. You gotta shop around, see what you can afford.
But what really matters, I think, is that the girls feel pretty wearin’ ‘em. That’s the whole point, ain’t it? To make the wedding day special and beautiful. And a flower crown, well, it’s just a little somethin’ extra to make the girls smile. And goodness knows, a smilin’ girl is a sight prettier than any flower, crown or no crown. You want flowers for a wedding? There are places that’ll deliver them right to your door, quick as a wink, and they ain’t gonna cost you an arm and a leg neither. Thirty-some dollars, they say. Not bad, not bad at all.
