Okay, so my best friend’s getting hitched, and guess what? Yours truly is gonna be a bridesmaid! We started talking about the overall vibe of the wedding, and she’s going for this elegant, kind of timeless feel. Naturally, the bridesmaid dresses need to match that whole aesthetic. We figured champagne would be a perfect color – it’s classy, it’s neutral, and it looks good on pretty much everyone.
The next step was figuring out where to actually buy these things. My friend mentioned this place, Azazie, so I hopped online and started browsing. They have a ton of champagne dresses in different styles – chiffon, satin, you name it. And they’re size-inclusive, which is awesome because we’ve got a range of body types in our bridal party.
Looking for some dresses
I found a few A-line dresses that I thought were super pretty. I mean, A-line is a classic for a reason, right? It just flatters everyone. I also saw some long-sleeved options, which is great because the wedding is in the fall and it might be a little chilly. I bookmarked a couple of lace dresses too, just to have some variety.
Discussing with the bride
After doing some digging, I showed my friend what I found. She liked the idea of long sleeves and agreed that A-line was a safe bet. We also talked about the price because, let’s be real, bridesmaid dresses can get expensive. My friend said her budget was about 150 dollars per dress, which is pretty average, according to what I read online. Luckily, the dresses I found on Azazie were within that range.
Making a purchase
- First, I made a list of all the bridesmaids’ sizes.
- Then, I narrowed down the dress options to three that my friend and I both loved.
- Finally, we let each bridesmaid pick her favorite from those three. It was a bit of a back-and-forth, but everyone ended up happy with their choice.
We placed the order, and the dresses arrived a few weeks later. We all tried them on, and they looked amazing! The champagne color was just as beautiful in person, and the long sleeves added that touch of elegance we were going for. I even found a dress with floral lace cap-sleeves that one of my friends is going to wear, and it’s absolutely stunning. She will look amazing and I’m so excited for her.
All in all, I’m really happy with how the bridesmaid dress situation turned out. We found some gorgeous champagne dresses that fit the wedding’s vibe, stayed within budget, and made all the bridesmaids feel beautiful. Now, we just gotta wait for the big day!
