Alright, let’s gab about them bridesmaid flowers, the ones the girls carry. You know, the bridesmaid bouquets with greenery. Not the big fancy one the bride’s got, but the smaller ones. They gotta look nice, but not too nice, you get me?
So, first off, they gotta have some green stuff in ’em. Greenery, they call it. Makes it look full and…well, green! I seen some real pretty ones with that…eucalyptus, that’s it! Smells good too, kinda like medicine but in a good way. And there’s this olive stuff, looks like little branches. Rosemary too, the kinda stuff you put on your chicken. All sorts of green things, really.
Some folks like them ferny lookin’ things. You know, like what grows in the woods? And them…uh…succulents, them fat little plants. They look kinda weird, but they stay green forever, which is somethin’ I guess.
- Eucalyptus: Smells good and looks fancy.
- Olive branches: Kinda simple, but nice.
- Rosemary: Smells good and you can use it later for cookin’! (Just kiddin’!)
- Ferns: Makes it look woodsy and wild.
- Succulents: Stays green, doesn’t need much water.
Now, about them flowers… they gotta match the bride’s, but be smaller. Like, if the bride’s got a big ol’ rose, the bridesmaids get smaller roses. Or maybe some other little flowers. They can’t be too big and showy, gotta let the bride shine, you know?
And the colors, gotta think about the colors. They gotta match the dresses, or the tablecloths, or somethin’. It’s all gotta look like it goes together. Like, if everything’s blue, you don’t want no bright orange flowers stickin’ out, right? Makes no sense.
I heard tell you can even use them bouquets to make the whole place look nicer. Like, if the place looks kinda plain, you can use the flowers to dress it up a bit. Smart thinkin’, I say.
There’s this thing called Baby’s Breath, tiny little white flowers. Looks like a cloud, real pretty. Used to be just for fillin’ in, but now folks use it all on its own. Looks simple but fancy, if you know what I mean.
And listen here, them flowers, they don’t just gotta be flowers. You can put all sorts of stuff in there. Like them air plants, they just hang there, don’t need no dirt. And some big ol’ leaves, the kind you see on them tropical plants. Makes it look…exotic, that’s the word.
So, when you’re pickin’ out them bridesmaid bouquets, remember: gotta have greenery, gotta be smaller than the bride’s, gotta match the colors, and gotta make the whole thing look nice. And don’t forget them little extras, like the air plants and the big leaves. It’s all about makin’ it pretty, you see?
And don’t go breakin’ the bank on ’em. They’re just flowers, after all. Pretty, but they don’t last forever. Get somethin’ nice, but don’t go overboard. That’s my two cents, anyway.
Oh, and one more thing. Your flower person, they’ll know what to do. They’re the experts. Just tell ‘em what you like, and they’ll figure it out. That’s what you pay ‘em for, right?
So there you have it. My thoughts on them bridesmaid flowers. Hope it helps ya out. Now go on and plan that weddin’!
