Alright, alright, let’s talk about them bridesmaid dresses, the ones they wore back in 2018, you know, like for them weddings. I seen a whole bunch of ’em, all sorts, some pretty, some… not so much. Don’t get me wrong, weddings are nice and all, but sometimes them dresses, they just make you scratch your head, you know?
The Good, the Bad, and the… Interesting
First off, I saw some real pretty ones, long and flowy, like what them fancy folks wear. They were all in the same color, but not exactly the same, you know? Like, some had a little sleeve, some didn’t, some were a bit shiny, some weren’t. That way, each girl looked good in her own way, not like they was all squeezed into the same sausage casing. I heard they call that “mix and match” or somethin’. Sounded fancy, but looked good, so I ain’t complainin’. And the colors! Oh, the colors. Some were soft and gentle, like a baby’s blanket, you know, blues and pinks and such. And then some were bold and bright, like a rooster’s tail, reds and yellows and even purples! It all depended on the wedding, I guess.
Then there were the ones that… well, they tried. You know, those dresses that looked like they were tryin’ to be fancy, but just ended up lookin’ uncomfortable? Like, too tight, or too much stuff goin’ on, you know, ruffles and bows and whatnot. And some of them fabrics, Lord have mercy! They looked like they’d stick to you like a burr on a dog’s tail. I always felt bad for them girls, havin’ to wear somethin’ like that all day long, smilin’ and pretendin’ they was havin’ a good time. Bless their hearts, they did their best.
And then there were the ones that were just… interestin’. Like, the ones that didn’t quite fit the weddin’, or the ones that were just plain weird. I remember one weddin’, the bridesmaids were all wearin’ these short, sparkly dresses. Looked like they was goin’ to a disco, not a weddin’! And another one, all the girls had these giant hats on, bigger than a dinner plate! I guess it was supposed to be fashionable, but all I could think was, how they gonna see where they’re goin’? But hey, to each their own, I always say. It’s their weddin’, not mine.
Where to Find ‘Em
Now, where do they get these dresses? Well, I hear there’s all sorts of places. Some go to them fancy stores, the ones where the dresses cost more than my whole house! They got all the big name brands, I hear, like that “La Femme” and “Lulus” or somethin’. And then there’s them online places too, like “*.” You can just sit in your rocker and order a dress right off your puter, they say. Fancy that! But I tell you what, I seen some pretty dresses at the regular stores too, you know, the ones down at the mall? They got some nice stuff, and you don’t have to sell your cow to afford it.
Pinterest and Them Ideas
And then there’s this thing called “Pinterest”. My grandbaby showed it to me. It’s like a big ol’ scrapbook, full of pictures. And wouldn’t you know it, they got a whole bunch of pictures of bridesmaid dresses! You can just scroll and scroll and scroll, lookin’ at all the different styles and colors. I even seen a whole board dedicated to “Bridesmaid Dresses and Styles 2018”! Folks puttin’ all sorts of ideas up there, for everyone to see. It’s kinda neat, I guess. Gives you some inspiration, if you’re into that kinda thing. They got midi dresses, one-shoulder dresses, stain dresses… all sorts! And there’s this “Yesbabyonline” place too, seems like they got a lot of dresses.
What Really Matters
But you know what I think? It ain’t about the dress, not really. It’s about the friends, the family, the love. Them girls, they’re standin’ up there supportin’ their friend, that’s what matters. The dress is just a dress. It can be fancy or plain, expensive or cheap, but it ain’t gonna make or break the wedding. And as long as the bride is happy, that’s all that counts. That’s what I always say, anyway. Now, pass me the sweet tea, would ya?
In Conclusion
So, them bridesmaid dresses from 2018, they were a mixed bag, just like everything else in life. Some good, some bad, some just plain weird. But they all had one thing in common: they were part of a wedding, a celebration of love. And that’s somethin’ worth rememberin’, no matter what kinda dress they were wearin’. And that’s all I got to say about that. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed the chickens.
More on Styles and Colors
Oh, I almost forgot! Them dresses, they come in all kinds of shapes too, not just long or short. Some are tight, some are loose, some are in between. And the sleeves! Lord, the sleeves! Some got long sleeves, some short, some no sleeves at all. And then there’s the necklines. Sweetheart necklines, V-necks, halter tops… you name it, they got it. It’s enough to make your head spin! But like I said, it’s all about findin’ somethin’ that looks good and feels good. And the color, well, that’s a whole ‘nother story! They match it to the flowers, to the tablecloths, to the groom’s tie… It’s a whole production, I tell ya. But in the end, it’s all supposed to look pretty and make the bride happy.
