Well, let me tell ya, picking out music for them bridesmaid gals walking down the aisle ain’t as easy as pie. You gotta think about what kind of mood you want, you know? Like, do you want somethin’ happy and peppy, or somethin’ more… well, fancy-like?
What them young’uns like these days? I hear tell of this “Beyonce” girl. Folks say she sings somethin’ called “Crazy in Love.” Sounds kinda wild to me, but them young’uns seem to like it. It’s got a good beat, I guess, makes ya wanna tap your feet. Maybe that’d work for the bridesmaids, gettin’ everyone excited.
Then there’s that old song, “Over the Rainbow.” Real pretty, real sweet. Now, that might be better for the little flower girl, you know, the one scatterin’ petals. She’s too young for all that crazy in love business, I reckon.
Some folks, they just play the same song for everyone. The little ones, the bridesmaids, even the bride herself. Saves ya some trouble, I suppose. But then it ain’t as special, is it? Each person should have their own little moment, their own little tune.
Now, don’t you go thinkin’ you gotta stick with that old “Here Comes the Bride” song. That’s been done to death, ain’t it? There’s a whole heap of music out there, just waitin’ to be played at a weddin’. You got your fast songs, your slow songs, your in-between songs. It’s enough to make your head spin!
Heard tell of a song called “Love Story” by some gal named Taylor Swift. That’s a popular one, they say. Don’t know much about it myself, but if the young folks like it, it can’t be all bad. And there’s that “Pachelbel’s Canon” thing. Sounds real fancy, like somethin’ you’d hear in a church. That might be nice for a more… you know… serious kinda weddin’.
- Choosing songs can be a real headache, though. So many choices! You got your country music, your pop music, your… whatever that other stuff is. It’s like tryin’ to pick out a needle in a haystack, I tell ya.
- Some folks even hire them DJ fellas. They got all the music, they say. But then you gotta trust ’em to pick the right songs, and that can be risky. What if they play somethin’ you don’t like? Then you’re stuck with it, ain’t ya?
- And don’t forget, the music gotta match the walk. You don’t want the bridesmaids rushin’ down the aisle like they’re chasin’ a chicken, and you don’t want ‘em draggin’ their feet like they’re goin’ to a funeral. The music gotta set the pace, you see.
There are folks, they call ’em “wedding choreographers,” who help you pick out the music and even tell you how to walk. Imagine that! Someone tellin’ you how to walk! But I guess some folks need that kinda help. Me, I just figure you put one foot in front of the other and hope for the best.
But really, the most important thing is that the music makes you happy. It’s your weddin’, after all. You pick the songs you like, and don’t worry about what anyone else thinks. If you wanna walk down the aisle to the sound of a banjo, then you go right ahead and do it! It’s your day, your way.
So, when you’re pickin’ out that music for your bridesmaids, just remember to keep it simple, keep it sweet, and keep it you. Don’t get too caught up in all the fancy stuff. Just pick somethin’ that makes you smile and makes them bridesmaids feel special. That’s all that really matters, ain’t it?
